Auditions for Mean Girls High School Version will be held at Clarkston Village Players, 4861 White Lake Rd., Clarkston

You only need to attend one (1) audition date, not both.

Students ages 10 to 18 years old (2024 graduating senior) are eligible to audition.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Mean Girls High School Version has approved changes provided by Tina Fey and is rated PG-13 by MTI Music Theatre International. Due to some mature content (sexual innuendo, language and teen partying) this show may not be appropriate for students under 13. Part of our summer program will include discussion around cyberbullying as it relates to the show content.

To streamline auditions, fill out and bring the Audition Form with you. We will also have copies available at the theatre. Registration fee of $100.00 will be required if you are cast in the show. Download our Audition Packet below for more information.

Preparation: Please prepare a musical theatre song of your choice around 1 min. long that showcases your vocal range and ability. You may sing a selection from Mean Girls or any other musical. You can sing your selection a capella or with a recorded karaoke accompaniment on your phone or other device. We will have a bluetooth speaker available.

​

You will also be asked to read selections from the script to demonstrate your ability to project your voice and to portray a character.

​

Dancers: Our Choreographer Madeline Flynn will also teach a quick TAP sequence to those students who have tap experience and wish to audition for a tap dance scene in the musical. Dance experience is not required to be cast in the show.

Rehearsals will be scheduled as follows, starting Mon. May 13:  6:30 pm Monday, Tuesday*, Wednesday, Thursday; 10:00 am Saturday*  (*As needed)

 

Performance Dates: July 19, 20, 21, 25, 26, 27
