About the event

Learning to prepare for an audition is an essential skill for any aspiring theater artist. This two-hour workshop for youth ages 10-18 focuses on what to expect at an audition and covers the fundamentals of the general audition process. Students should prepare in advance two 1.5 - 3 minute monologues (1-comedic & 1-dramatic) and will also do a cold reading. A list of suggested monologues will be available to students upon request. Instructors: Clarkston Village Players Member Annette Swidwinski and Clarkston Village Players Director Sara Sanger.

Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle.

Email producer@cvpyouththeatre.org with additional questions.

Special promotion: If you enroll in both the "Intro to Improvisation" and "Auditioning Tips" workshops you will be eligible to receive a $20 discount off your registration fee if you choose to also audition for our summer production. Auditions for CVP Youth Theatre's summer production will take place in the beginning of May and run through July with performances the last two weekends in July.
